The 32nd Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) will take place from June 17 to 21 at the China National Convention Center (Phase I) in Beijing. Spanning 60,000 square meters, the fair will bring together over 1,700 exhibitors from 82 countries and regions, showcasing 220,000 premium titles from around the world.

This fair will feature a well‑organized layout with multiple functional zones and a wide array of publications. Under the branding "Al Bait Al Emarati" (literally "United Arab Emirates House"), the United Arab Emirates, as the Country of Honor for this BIBF, will set up two booths for the first time, accompanied by a series of cultural exchange events, copyright negotiations, and interactive cultural activities.

The Online Publication Area will set up a joint booth for online publications for the first time, along with a dedicated stage where well‑known web literature authors will be invited to speak.

This year's BIBF will also introduce the IP Licensing Zone, gathering over 120 renowned domestic and international IPs covering cartoons, film and television, intangible cultural heritage, and other areas. The zone will combine popular IPs with publishing culture through immersive exhibitions.

In addition, five special sections — the BIBF Picture Book Fair, the BIBF Art Book Fair, the BIBF Illustration Exhibition, the BIBF Gourmet Book Fair, and the Gifts from the World — will return as scheduled.

During the fair, nearly 1,000 professional exchange activities and cultural events will be held, including the Beijing International Publishing Forum, the 2026 BIBF World Children's Book Forum, the 2026 BIBF International Illustration Forum and Illustration Awards Ceremony, and the Sino-Foreign Copyright Matchmaking Event. The author-focused events will continue to invite renowned authors around the globe for dialogues and exchanges.

Admission is free to the Chinese Exhibition Area and the Overseas Publishing Area (E1), the Children's Book Area (C1), the Gourmet Book Area and the Gifts from the World (C3), and the Online Publication Area (C4). From June 17 to 19, access to the Professional Publishing Zone (B1) requires a Professional Visitor Badge (60 yuan for a single day and 160 yuan for the full event). The Picture Book Fair, the Art Book Fair, and the Illustration Exhibition require separate tickets, with varying regulations for children's free admission in different exhibition areas.
