On November 16, the "Fun in China - Qianmen of Beijing Central Axis" - Flavors of Qianmen Food Festival (hereinafter referred to as the "Food Festival") and the 3rd Silk Road Gastronomy Culture Festival officially opened in the Qianmen commercial district. As an iconic culinary project now permanently based in Qianmen, this year's Food Festival brings together cultural brands, snacks that are popular on the Internet, and the local dishes along the Silk Road.

The Food Festival opens daily from 10:30 to 21:00 across key areas including Guanghe Square on Qianmen Street, Xinchao Hutong Square, and Alishan Square. A wide variety of Chinese and foreign dishes are on offer, such as Shandong's pancakes, Wuhan's hot-dry noodles, Shaanxi's oil-splash noodles, mini roujiamo (a kind of meat sandwich), and Harbin's guobaorou (sweet-and-sour pork), as well as Indian rumali roti, and Pakistani pilaf. The dining areas are enhanced with camping tents, outdoor seats, heating equipment, and nighttime lighting installations to create a comfortable and immersive atmosphere.
It should be noted that the concurrent 3rd Silk Road Gastronomy Culture Festival features a three-day pop-up global food market, showcasing specialties from Türkiye, Sri Lanka, Russia, and other Belt and Road partner countries.
