On April 22, the main structure of the "Da Yan Jing" (大眼京) Ferris wheel was officially completed. Located in Beijing Happy Valley, it stands 99 meters tall, with 46 cabins, and is the tallest Ferris wheel in Beijing. It is expected to begin operation by the end of June.

The Ferris wheel features an inverted-Y-shaped support structure, which is rare among the Ferris wheels worldwide. This design ensures structural stability and aesthetic appeal. The wheel has a rotation diameter of 90 meters and a total of 46 cabins, 10 of which are themed VIP cabins. It can accommodate up to 460 passengers per ride, with each ride lasting approximately 20 minutes.
The cabins are elliptical in shape, with temperatures maintained between 21℃ and 25℃. They are also equipped with a fresh air ventilation system with appropriate humidity controls. The VIP cabins are each equipped with color-changing ambient lights as well as an LCD touchscreen for on-demand music selection, making the high-altitude journey more ceremonial. All cabins are each fitted with a two-way intercom system, allowing passengers to stay in contact with the control room at all times.
