Recently, festive flowers for the Spring Festival have flooded Beijing's markets, as you will see if you visit one of the following vibrant spots. Let the fragrance of fresh blooms drive away the winter blues and fill your home with festive vibes.

Beijing Flower Trading Center

The Beijing Flower Trading Center, located on Caoqiao East Road in Fengtai District, has recently rolled out its Spring Festival flower series. The most eye-catching is the "Blossoms on Horseback" collection, inspired by the Year of the Horse. Planted in horse-shaped vases, the flowers are all popular types with auspicious meanings.

Huaxiang Floral Creativity Park

Sitting at the southwest corner of the Yuquanying Overpass, the Huaxiang Floral Creativity Park is a well-known retail market. Here you'll be greeted by a vibrant display of blooming Chinese New Year flowers. In addition to fresh floral arrangements, the market also offers potted plants, greenery, flower baskets, bouquets, miniature landscapes, succulents, pots, and other gardening supplies.

Beijing International Flower Industrial Park

The Beijing International Flower Industrial Park is situated in Panggezhuang, Daxing District. The park features a "48-hour circle of global flowers", enabling visitors to view floral varieties from countries like the Netherlands and Germany without ever leaving Beijing. The Family Gardening Carnival & Chinese New Year Flower Exhibition is the current display, presenting over a hundred new and premium varieties from around the world.

Flower Agora  

Covering an area of 20,000 square meters, the Flower Agora Flower Market in Gaobeidian, Chaoyang District, offers flowers sourced directly from the world's core flower-producing regions. It also hosts a special fresh flower market every morning.

The first floor features domestic and imported fresh-cut flowers, including unique options like magnolia branches, hanging persimmon, lantern fruits (Physalis alkekengi), and China root (Smilax china L.). The basement level is dedicated to potted plants, greenery, flowers, birds, fish, and insects. And many shops specializing in tropical plants are well worth a visit.

Jingbei Flower World

The 2026 Orchid Culture Carnival is still underway at Jingbei Flower World (East Zone of Changping Strawberry Expo Park). In the main exhibition hall of 20,000 square meters, renowned horticulturists have established over 100 photo-worthy installations.

The flower-appreciation route is cleverly designed to connect diverse experiences, including New Year Garden tours, festive flower markets, and cultural creative bazaars. During the Spring Festival, the "Fragrant Orchids Bring Blessings" Garden Tour Season will be in full swing, which features intangible cultural heritage displays and a unique blend of rainforest and desert landscapes. It also offers twelve floral-themed games for locals and visitors to enjoy a veritable cultural feast.

Plant and Flower Distribution Center

During the 2026 Chinese New Year Flower Exhibition at Beijing International Flower Port, millions of exquisite flowers bloom vibrantly.

This 25,000-square-meter exhibition brings together premium Chinese New Year flowers from across the country, including over a hundred core varieties and niche and distinctive types. In addition to a wide array of fresh flowers, there is an extensive selection of high-quality green plants.
