Commuters in Beijing can now grab a fresh cup of coffee right inside the subway! On October 31, the first coffee shop in Beijing Subway, operated by Luckin Coffee, officially opened next to the exit gates of Guomao Station on Line 1. At this shop, passengers can scan a QR code to place their orders and enjoy freshly brewed drinks such as Americano, latte, and milk tea as they pass through the fare gates.

The store features a "Subway Express" service model — allowing passengers to pre-order through Luckin Coffee's WeChat mini program on their phones before entering or on their way to the station, and pick up their drinks upon arrival at the shop.

As of now Beijing Subway has introduced 134 convenience stores, bakeries, blood donation stations, and souvenir shops across its network. It has also installed 2,637 self-service vending machines selling food (including bread) and toys, shared power banks, and photo-printing kiosks, as well as 274 other facilities, such as "urban living spaces", flower cabinets, and storage lockers. Looking forward, the subway company will continue to innovate its services based on passenger feedback to ensure a convenient and delightful travel experience for all.
