The 15th China Tourism Day was observed on May 19, 2025. Beijing is celebrating with a comprehensive lineup of events. This year's celebration follows a "1+16" model, featuring one municipal-level main event held from 10:00 to 15:00 on May 19, and 16 district-level events that will take place in May.

During the main event held on May 19, the "Enjoy Beijing" public benefit packages were released, including the top-rated products of "Beijing Gifts" in the first quarter of this year, 100 newly launched cultural and tourism offerings (spanning eight categories, such as first stores, new travel routes, and innovative products), and over 500 beneficial policies and activities for the public. Hundreds of key cultural and tourism enterprises offered discounted sales on hot-selling products and host interactive lucky draws. Renowned troupes like the Jingju Theater Company of Beijing, Northern Kunqu Opera Theater, and Beijing Symphony Orchestra performed live.

The main event included an offline cultural and tourism market divided into seven sections, such as new product releases, leisure and resort, technology experience, and food tasting, with more than 100 leading cultural and tourism enterprises presenting their offers for sale. The Bank of China also provided rich discounts for those having spent certain amounts at the market, while Amap launched Beijing-exclusive coupon packages.

Discounts of Popular Scenic Areas

Mentougou District launched cultural and tourism consumption promotion campaigns, offering half-price combo tickets for five scenic areas, including Gushan Village, Baqi Cave, Nanshiyang Canyon, Liulixinggu and Cuanbai Scenic Area for visitors holding ticket stubs and other forms of credentials of Jingxi Yueji Park. Every guest staying at any of the 80 designated courtyard inns can enjoy a 20-30 percent discount.

Pinggu District is issuing public benefit coupons, offering ticket discounts or discounts for those having spent certain amounts at designated scenic areas.

Beijing Wildlife Park is offering spring discount packages.

Shijingshan Amusement Park introduced the discounted combo tickets for the Ferris wheel and "Flyover the World".

Dining and Accommodation Discounts

Fangshan District Cultural and Tourism Association is distributing 2,000 vouchers for dining, accommodation, and intangible cultural heritage experience bases.

Many guesthouses in Miyun District are offering spring special prices.

Abundant Public Welfare Performances

Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area will host public welfare cultural performances throughout May.

Shunyi Grand Theater staged "From Mozart to Jazz", a public welfare concert, on May 18.

Huairou's Yanqi Lake Scenic Area will hold public welfare performances during night tours.
