The old Hualian Department Store, nestled at the northwest corner of Fuchengmen, has recently undergone a transformation. Through comprehensive upgrades and renovations, the establishment has been revitalized into China Overseas Business Center, a vast complex of corporate offices, upscale work spaces, dynamic commercial areas, and international conference amenities.

After meticulous selection, the ground-floor commercial area has introduced five first stores set up by international and Chinese brands. Among them, one stands as the first store for Xicheng District - Italy’s century-old coffee maestro Lavazza, with the remaining four proudly as Beijing’s firsts. These include the SYNC Lounge, the avant-garde aesthetic experience restaurant; Chambery, known for its gastronomic delights crafted by a Michelin-starred chef from Hong Kong SAR; Costa Coffee Master Selection Store, the only Costa in Beijing offering hand-brewed coffee; and the flagship store of "Tianfu Best", in collaboration with the Sichuan Building, providing a diverse array of Sichuan delicacies.
