In alignment with the 2024 National Consumption Promotion Month and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Consumption Season, Xicheng District of Beijing has recently launched its own consumption season.

This initiative will encompass consumer activities across the district's retail sales, catering, culture and tourism sectors. Running throughout the year, these activities will be divided into five segments, 28 series and 47 distinctive themes, such as the car promotion carnival, spring sale, appliance trade-in and online shopping campaign.

It's noteworthy that consumer vouchers worth 18 million yuan will be issued through the WeChat account "Consumption in Xicheng" (西城消费), and they can be used in shopping events organized in collaboration with retail businesses such as Hanguang Department Store, Xidan Joy City, Xizhimen CapitaMall, and Beijing Fun. The Douyin (TikTok) account "Consumption in Xicheng" will launch themed live-stream activities concurrently, showing viewers what's on offer in the district's commercial areas and famous stores.
