Recently, Raggi, the mayor of Rome, Italy, released messages on the official website of the Rome government, expressing his gratitude to Beijing for donating anti-epidemic materials. 

Raggi detailed the types and quantity of materials donated by Beijing on the official website of the Rome government. She praised Beijing’s donations as a symbol of the friendship between the capitals of China and Italy, and said that they would send the materials to the frontline medical staff as soon as possible. 

In late April, the anti-epidemic materials donated by Beijing arrived some international sister cities one after another. Many leaders of these international cities have sent letters to express their gratitude, saying that the materials donated by Beijing will play an important role in their epidemic prevention and control and their resumption of work and production.
