During a recent release session, a new batch of Beijing's new technologies, products and services was unveiled, with 497 innovation achievements introduced at ZGC International Technology Trade Center. The release session highlighted Beijing's capacity for original innovation in frontier technologies. To date, Beijing has released 21 batches of such achievements—collectively known as the "Three New" products—with more than 20,000 achievements introduced to market following recognition.

The latest batch focuses on Beijing's priority sectors. More than 70 percent of the achievements are in three key fields: next-generation information technology, high-end equipment and manufacturing, and healthcare. At the event, 31 selected "Three New" products were displayed at the "Achievement Store" (橙果铺子; a store at ZGC International Technology Trade Center), while live-streaming platforms for technology commercialization helped expand their exposure and connect them with potential market partners.

Beijing's program for the recognition and promotion of new technologies, products and services is designed to strengthen the technological supply, foster collaboration among enterprises, academia and research institutes, and accelerate the commercialization of research findings. Over the past decade, more than 20,000 innovation achievements have been recognized under the program.

Going forward, Beijing will continue to identify, cultivate and promote these achievements while providing them with enhanced support services. The city will coordinate innovation resources across governments, financial institutions, enterprises and industries, continue to improve its collaborative innovation ecosystem, and better connect technology R&D, real-world application testing, market promotion and financial support. These efforts will further enhance the influence of the "Three New" products.
