On May 18, Beijing's thematic event of the 35th National Day of Assisting Persons with Disabilities, themed "Technological Aid - Perseverance Builds Dreams", and the inauguration ceremony of the Beijing Assistive Technology Achievement Exhibition Area, were held at Huiai Building, a demonstration center of services for people with disabilities in Beijing.

The exhibition area presents over 60 cutting-edge assistive technology products, including electronic guide dogs and large tactile displays for visually impaired persons, real-time subtitle transcription glasses and sign language interaction devices for those experiencing severe hearing loss, exoskeleton robots and eye-tracking brain control devices for people with physical disabilities, AI-powered social robot systems for cognitive rehabilitation of individuals with intellectual disabilities, and advanced brain-computer interface technologies and gene therapy drugs for eye diseases. All of these respond to the needs of people with different types of disabilities for advanced assistive technologies.
