In the first three quarters, the structure of Beijing's high-end, precision and sophisticated industries continued to improve. By cultivating and strengthening emerging industries and strategically planning for future industries, Beijing actively empowers industrial upgrading. For example, the high-level autonomous driving demonstration zone is being extended to cover the 3000 sq. km area citywide. A total of 94 large models have been authorized for launch in Beijing.

At present, Beijing has established a relatively complete service system for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), nurturing over 20,000 key enterprises in all sizes. Going forward, Beijing will focus on key areas such as general AI, humanoid robots, medicine and healthcare, and plans to establish the first batch of future industry incubation bases for about 20 enterprises, with the aim of spawning more future-oriented specialized and high-grade enterprises that provide unique and novel products and services.
