On August 5 and 6, the Smart Robot Challenge (智能机器人挑战赛), one of the events of the Large Enterprise Challenge series of the HICOOL 2026 Global Entrepreneurship Competition, kicked off in Changping District.

Focusing on smart robots, this event adopts a model in which "large enterprises pose questions and entrepreneurs solve them". Nearly 50 projects tackling the real-world issues concerning production lines were launched, creating a direct pathway for innovative solutions developed during the event to be implemented directly on the production side. Project roadshows focused on innovative development and hard technologies, highlighting both forward-looking vision and breakthroughs. Meanwhile, contestants of the "Talent Parlor" (人才会客厅) took part in in-depth matchmaking sessions with investment institutions and functional departments, exploring both opportunities and challenges.

The overall quality of the participating projects exceeded expectations, contributing to better connections between technological innovation and industrial demand, and showcasing a wide range of possibilities for turning hard-tech breakthroughs into practical, real-world applications.
