The 2025 6G Development Conference will be held in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area from November 13 to 14, 2025, highlighting the latest research achievements, such as 6G-powered AI-native design and AI-agent  communication.

The two-day conference will commence with an opening ceremony and a main forum on the first day, featuring keynote speeches by academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. As 6G standards enter their inaugural year, the conference will feature a roundtable discussion on "Building a 6G and AI Integrated Ecosystem", where attendees will discuss the innovation space for the 6G communication-intelligence integration. The attendees of the discussion will include the key figures in 6G development of international standard organizations, including the International Telecommunication Union Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) and the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), the heads of the China Communications Standards Association, guests from the 6G industry organizations in Europe, Japan, and South Korea, representatives from basic telecom operators, manufacturing enterprises, university research institutions, and industry partners including those of the robotics industry.

On November 14, seven parallel sub-forums will be launched, focusing on topics such as 6G network technologies, intelligent endogeny, wireless technologies, integrated communication and sensing, integrated space and ground, security and credibility, and the development of Beijing's 6G industry. Industrial experts will introduce the latest research achievements, analyze industrial trends, and share their thoughts on application prospects, to jointly promote the innovative development of 6G technologies and the broader industry.

As one of the key achievements, a technical report on several scenarios, such as 6G communication-intelligence integration, communication-sensing integration, and immersive communication, will be released. This is expected to provide technical guidance for standardization and industrialization. Focusing on the direction of communication-intelligence integration, the conference will also highlight the latest research achievements in 6G-powered AI-native design and AI-agent communication, with the 6G technologies' trial results of 2025 to be unveiled as well. The China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, in collaboration with the whole 6G industry, will upgrade the capabilities of the 6G technology trial platform, to make it a public service platform for full-cycle and full-chain verification, iteration and optimization for the relevant technologies, thereby contributing to standard formulation and industrial R&D.

The conference is to be co-hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology  and IMT-2030 (6G) Promotion Group , and co-organized by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and the Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area.
