On December 9, Map Store's flagship bookstore opened  in Baizhifang Subdistrict.

The most eye-catching feature of this bookstore lies in its great variety of maps, including historic territory maps, provincial maps, hand-drawn maps, and those modern maps using high-precision satellite images. It also houses world geography encyclopedias and local cultural chronicles, as well as map-related reading materials.

In addition, an ancient map exhibition titled "Changes of Beijing Through Tides of Times" will give a vivid picture of the city's urban views, geographic patterns, and its formation and evolution as a political and cultural center in different historic periods through easy-to-read geographic representations made by exquisite drawing techniques.
