Public entry to the Beijing Shi Yuan International Tourism Resort will be free from December 9, 2024, until January 8, 2025.

The Beijing Shi Yuan International Tourism Resort preserves the main structures and landscapes from the Beijing Expo. The resort will host the third Beijing Expo Lantern Art Festival, including a 50,000 square meters of lantern exhibit, on January 15, 2025. The event will showcase thousands of technological and traditional lanterns and a series of Chinese New Year performances.

How to Participate?

To register for the event, participants can utilize the "Expo Outdoor Sports" mini-program. Please note that only the park's loop roads are authorized as the official running area, and participants are required to report their running routes in real-time during the event through the Expo Smart System. The recorded data from this system will be the only valid record of activity.

Rewards

Participants can start the challenge at any time during the event period. One Lantern Festival ticket, redeemable on designated dates, will be awarded to the person who completes a cumulative distance of 30 kilometers.

Friendly Reminder

It is recommended that guests access the park by either Gate 1 or Gate 2. The park is open from 9:00 to 17:00, and admission is closed at 16:30.
