The 2023 Beijing International Photography Week (Photo Beijing 2023) kicked off at the China Millennium Monument World Art Museum on October 21.

With an academic theme of "Image: Countryside · Symbiosis", this year's event features 11 exhibitions with 2,000 photos (groups of photos) and 13 forums covering nine major themes. These themes include "rural revitalization", "the coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region", "building Beijing into a city of museums", and "the Belt and Road Initiative", providing visitors with a variety of exciting exhibitions and activities.

In addition, the "Cloud Image: Mobile Phone Popular Photography Exhibition" has been held for ten consecutive years, aiming to expand the horizons of photography art and advocate for the use of mobile phones as a novel lifestyle tool to capturing genuine moments, conveying emotions, and discovering the beauty of the world.

It is worth mentioning that this year's Photo Beijing event incorporated AIGC technology to create digital images during the opening ceremony for the first time, and also held a forward-thinking exhibition titled "Photo Beijing Young Artists Invitation Exhibition" that explored the intersection of creative thinking and art in the age of AI.

The event is scheduled to last for nine days and will conclude on October 29.
