The Central Gifts and Artifacts Center is a state-level museum dedicated to collecting, exhibiting and studying the gifts received and presented by China through diplomatic activities. The exhibition titled "The Gift of Friendship—From Past Ties to a Shared Future: Exhibition of Diplomatic Gifts Received by China's Leaders" exhibits more than 680 gifts received and presented during diplomatic activities since the founding of the People's Republic of China. From the early tokens marking the dawn of China's friendship with other countries to the rich array of gifts that reflect the major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics in the new era, these national gifts vividly testify to the profound friendship and cultural exchanges between China and its diplomatic partners.
