This is an arrow tower situated at the southeastern corner of the inner part of Beijing during the Ming and Qing dynasties. As a military fortification structure, it was first built in 1436 during the Ming Dynasty, over 570 years ago. It is the largest surviving corner arrow tower of its kind in China and the only remaining one in Beijing.
