The museum is dedicated to promoting fine traditional Chinese culture and art as well as rescuing and protecting precious Chinese cultural relics that are scattered overseas.
The museum features two exhibition areas for exquisite artifacts. The "Exhibition of Ancient Chinese Bronze Art" (中国古代青铜艺术精品陈列) displays more than 100 exquisite bronze artifacts (including individual artifacts and sets) from the early Shang Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, illustrating the evolution and unique charm of the ancient Chinese bronze civilization. The "Exhibition of Ancient Chinese Stone Carving Buddhist Art" (中国古代石刻佛教造像艺术精品陈列) features over 30 stone Buddhist statues from the Northern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty, presenting the splendor of the Chinese Buddhist art at its peak.
