Situated in Mentougou District, Liuliqu Village is a thousand-year-old village that has gone through five dynasties: Liao, Jin, Yuan, Ming, and Qing. It was once home to a royal glazing factory. A large number of well-preserved ancient buildings still remain in Liuliqu Village, including the royal glazing factory from the Qing Dynasty. It was built by the authority of the Ministry of Works governing royal glaze manufacturing at Liuliqu Kiln at that time. Today, the former office site of the glazing factory in the Qing Dynasty is used as the exhibition room of Liuliqu Village's local life and history.

The building is a complete-scale, south-facing Chinese courtyard house in two sections. The rooms of the house are connected by corridors, with a lovely courtyard in the middle. The archway is decorated with exquisite brick carvings. Currently, most of the rooms in the courtyard house are used as exhibition rooms, and many tiles abandoned during previous royal building repairs are displayed around the building.

The exhibition room details the history of Liuliqu Village from the Liao Dynasty to the present, highlighting folk cultures and customs such as Five-Tiger Shaolin Sports and Cultural Activities, Tea Parties, and Bridge and Road Fairs. It also displays eight sections of information about cultural relics such as Wanyuan Tongshan Tea Stall and ancient trails.
