Beijing opera facial makeup is a special art in Chinese operas which changes for different roles according to certain specific norms as well as their dispositions and moral qualities, to create stage atmosphere, enhance visual effect and reveal the character's purpose. Liu Zengfu was fond of facial makeup when he was only a child.
