Travel Routes

Route 1: Entering via the east gate of the park, visitors can see the cherry trees mainly growing from seedlings independently cultivated by the park. Head westward along the Dongmen Bridge, walk up the stairs at the "Yuyuan Chunqiu" scenic area on the right side of the road, and overlook the East Lake from the top of the hill.

Route 2: Entering via the south gate of the park, visitors can watch the cherry trees planted after 2018. Situated on the northwest of the south gate, the "Cherry Valley" scenic area is a unique garden with different varieties of cherry trees. Heading westward via the "Cherry Valley" scenic area, visitors can view the terraced cherry blossom fields in the "South Hill View of Cherry Blossoms" scenic area.

Route 3: Walking southwest via the north gate to the Cherry Blossom Garden, visitors can see the Sargent cherry trees firstly planted in 1973, cerasus discoidea, a specie of cherry tree native to China and firstly planted in 1990s, and prunus serrulata, a specie of cherry tree native to Fujian Province of China and firstly introduced in recent years.

Route 4: Entering via the west gate to the Cherry Blossom Garden Dock, visitors can row a boat on the lake and then visit the cultural and creative shops near the dock.
