The Application of Provisional Driving Permit

Foreign vehicle drivers who stay in China for a short period of time, with this period of stay of no more than three months in the territory of the People's Republic of China, can apply for provisional driving permit valid for 3 months. If they stay for more than 3 months, the validity period of the provisional driving permit shall be consistent with the permitted period of stay, but shall not exceed 1 year.

Renewal and Examination of Driving License

A driver holding a motor vehicle driving license issued in Beijing should apply for renewal and verification of their motor vehicle driving license within 90 days before the expiry of the motor vehicle driving license.

This item is applicable to the following situations: 1.
