Chinese Investors
A photocopy of the natural person's People's Republic of China resident ID card (Paste it on the Identity Document Page of the Natural Person Partner or the Qualification Document Page of Non-natural-person Partner in the application letter.); or a photocopy of the original business license affixed with an official seal of the company (Paste it on the Identity Document Page of the Natural Person Partner or the Qualification Document Page of Non-natural-person Partner in the application letter.); or Certificate of Public Institution with Legal Person Status; or Social Organization Legal Entity Registration Certificate; or Registration Certificate of Private Non-enterprise Entities.
Foreign Investors
An original copy of the entity qualification certificate of the foreign investor, notarized by the competent authority in his or her home country and then authenticated by the embassy (consulate) of China in that country (If the country has no diplomatic relations with China, it shall be certified by the embassy [consulate] in that country of a third country that has diplomatic relations with China, and then by the embassy [consulate] of China in that third country. Documents issued by an overseas territory of a country shall be notarized in that territory first, then certified by the diplomatic agencies of that country, and finally certified by Chinese embassy [consulate] in that country. The above stipulations shall apply unless otherwise provided in any international treaty China has concluded or acceded to. Foreign natural persons who set up companies in China and submit the People's Republic of China Foreign Permanent Resident ID Card as his/her identity document don't need to go through the notarization process), or an original copy of the identity document of the foreign investor that is notarized by the competent authority in his or her home country and then authenticated by the embassy (consulate) of China in that country.
Investors from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan
A photocopy of the entity qualification certificate of investors from Hong Kong, Macao or Taiwan that is notarized by the local notarial office shall be provided in accordance with special provisions or agreements (The identity document of natural person investors from Hong Kong or Macao refers to the permanent resident identity card of Hong Kong or Macao, passport of Hong Kong or Macao, residence permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents issued by the public security authorities of the Chinese Mainland or Chinese Mainland travel permit for Hong Kong and Macao residents issued by exit-entry administration authorities of the Chinese Mainland, among which residence permits for Hong Kong and Macao residents or Chinese Mainland travel permits for Hong Kong and Macao residents can be submitted without notarization. Residence permit for Taiwan residents issued by the public security authorities of the Chinese Mainland or Chinese Mainland travel permit for Taiwan residents issued by exit-entry administration authorities of the Chinese Mainland can serve as the identity documents for natural person investors from Taiwan without notarization. Natural persons from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Macao Special Administrative Region who use Chinese Mainland travel permits for Hong Kong and Macao residents and Chinese nationals who have settled abroad [overseas Chinese] who use passports for registration can complete real-name verification through the National Real-name Verification System for Enterprise Registration) or an original copy of the identity document that is notarized by the local notarial office shall be provided in accordance with special provisions or agreements.
2). Domicile document: an original copy of the certificate of lawful use of the domicile (business premises) (Normally the photocopy of the original property ownership certificate is required and pasted on the Identity Document Page of the Natural Person Partner or the Qualification Document Page of Non-natural-person Partner in the application letter.)
3). An original copy of the notification and commitment letter (Where the handling of the matter is based on the notification and commitment system, the Notification and Commitment System for the Registration of Market Entities in Beijing - Commitment Letter of the Sponsor (Legal Representative) and the Notification and Commitment System for the Registration of Market Entities in Beijing - Commitment Letter of the Presenter shall be submitted).
