II. Foreign professionals (Category B)
Foreign professionals who meet the requirements of the guiding catalog and positions for foreigners to work in China, are urgently needed for China's economic and social development, and meet any of the following conditions are identified as Category B talents.
i. Foreign professionals with a bachelor's degree or above, and two years or more relevant work experience, while meeting any of the following provisions:
1. Managerial or technical professionals engaged in scientific research, teaching, and management in fields such as education, scientific research, journalism, publishing, culture, art, health, and sports.
2. Personnel engaged in the implementation of China-foreign intergovernmental agreements, inter-organizational agreements, China-foreign economic and trade, as well as engineering and technology contracts. For professionals dispatched by internationally renowned academic institutions or international organizations in science and education, restrictions on the age may be eased in accordance with the terms of intergovernmental exchange and cooperation agreements.
3. Employees of representative offices of international organizations in China and representatives of China offices of overseas expert organizations.
4. Middle-level or higher ranked employees dispatched by multinational companies, as well as chief representatives and representatives of permanent representative offices of foreign enterprises in China.
5. Foreign managerial or technical professionals employed by enterprises, public institutions, and non-governmental organizations.
ii. Skilled talents holding internationally recognized vocational skills qualification certificates or in urgent demand.
iii. Foreign language teaching staff. Foreign language teaching staff should, in principle, be engaged in teaching the mother tongue of their native countries, possess a bachelor's degree or above, and have more than two years' experience in language education. Those who have obtained a bachelor's degree or above in education, language, or normal education, or alternatively have either obtained a teaching certificate in their country or a qualified international language teaching certificate, may be exempted from work experience requirement.
iv. Foreign talents with a four-fold and above wage of the average social wage income of the region in the previous year.
v. Professionals meeting requirements of relevant authorities or engaged in project implementation.
vi. Professionals scoring 60 points and above.
