The summer-only "Ferris Wheel Night" (摩天轮之夜) at Longtan Middle Park was relaunched in a new format, with six weekend summer parties scheduled. The 2026 edition will run until September 19, during different time slots on Saturdays and Sundays. Details are available via the park's official WeChat account (龙潭中湖公园).

The "Informal Concert" has been a fixture of the "Ferris Wheel Night" for three consecutive years. This year, themed sets centered on individual singers have been added, with online voting introduced, to broaden participation and make the event more interactive.

The second-hand goods market (闲置好物集) has also grown, with 120 stalls spread along the tree-lined paths. Families with children make up the bulk of the crowds. On the other side of the Ferris wheel, the open-air film screenings play to a full house, with the screen strung between the trees and the audience watching from the lawn. On the island in the middle of the lake, the food zone of the Forest Market (森林市集) has been substantially expanded, bringing dozens of flavors together in one place.

The "Ferris Wheel Night" was first held in 2023 and has since drawn an average of more than 100,000 visits a year.
