On September 23, the 2025 Beijing Osmanthus Culture Festival opened at the Summer Palace, which serves as the main venue. This year's event is organized in collaboration with nine other tourist attractions, including Fragrant Hills Park, the Beijing Working People's Cultural Palace, and Haidian Park, to create a city-wide celebration of osmanthus blossoms in golden autumn. The festival will continue until October 12.

In 2025, more than 230 pots of osmanthus and other large flowering plants will be on display. Medium-aged osmanthus plants will be arranged at the major gates, while ancient osmanthus and specially designed decorative flower pots will be displayed protectively in key visitor areas such as Renshoudian (Hall of Benevolence and Longevity), Leshoutang (Hall of Happiness and Longevity), and the Summer Palace Museum.
