On September 23, the 2025 Beijing Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Garden Party with Colorful Lanterns will kick off at the Beijing World Park. The event will continue until late March 2026, meaning it will run during multiple holidays, including the Mid-Autumn Festival, the National Day, the New Year's Day, the Spring Festival, and the Lantern Festival.

Themed "Colorful World, Fantastic Nights", the event will leverage the park's miniature landscapes to create seven distinct zones: "Carnival Nights", "Romantic Europe", "Vibrant Americas", "Passionate Africa", "Mysterious Asia", "Colorful Oceania", and "Belt and Road". It will feature 180 creative light installations and three ingeniously designed illuminated spaces. Among these, 70 sets of lanterns will be on display, along with over 60,000 decorative hanging lanterns.

In addition to the unique lanterns, the park will host special performances, including molten iron fireworks (an intangible cultural heritage item). Themed foods and creative cultural products will be available in these zones. Visitors will be treated to an immersive feast of light art.
