Universal Beijing Resort once again launched its summer-exclusive event "Universal Cool Summer" on June 13, which will last until August 17. Meanwhile, the resort's closing time will be extended to 21:00, while that of the CityWalk will be extended to 23:00.

This year, the main stage of the "Universal Cool Summer" has been completely upgraded.

The newly installed oversized screens, combined with cool neon lighting and dynamic water dance effects, immerse the visitors in vibrant musical rhythms. Popular characters from blockbuster movies, including Shrek and Princess Fiona, the Minions, and Po, will form five bands that take turns performing in an intense "showdown". The highly popular Megatron will also join the lineup for the first time.

In addition, the resort has thoughtfully set up three dryers to allow visitors to quickly get dry after getting wet.

At the "Jurassic Flyers" featuring a panoramic view, visitors can soar past a jungle and a "habitat of prehistoric creatures" at dusk. As night falls, the Nighttime Magic at Hogwarts Castle starts with a magnificent show.

This year, Universal Beijing Resort has specially launched a promotional campaign for the graduation season. Specifically, every eligible visitor can have a limited-edition commemorative gift package after purchasing a ticket of a designated type. Each package consists of a graduation cap, a commemorative badge, a wristband, and a certificate for commemoration — all imbued with special meanings. Simultaneously, Universal Pop will present passionate, limited-time live performances while the Sunset Grill will offer an exclusive dining package for the graduation season.

Through immersive scenarios, the Jurassic-themed zone allows children to observe and explore realistic scientific installations up close, tour through DNA double helix structures, marvel at paleontological fossils and access a simulation laboratory. Young visitors can gain knowledge and joy through the tours there. 

To ensure comfortable experiences for visitors during hot summer days, over two-thirds of the attractions in the resort are located indoors or equipped with shaded areas. The resort also has more than 100 drinking water stations situated outside restrooms and within the queue lines of some attractions, enabling convenient hydration for visitors.
