The exhibition combines precious physical exhibits and large-scale VR immersive experiences. It displays a number of aerospace artifacts that can be considered national treasures of China, supplemented by high-definition graphics, footage from missions and high-precision spacecraft models tracing the full development of China's lunar exploration program. A VR-powered sci-fi drama, created based on the real data collected through space exploration, is presented to the public for the first time. Visitors can experience every stage from rocket launch, spacewalk, to crewed moon landing and other scenarios, and get amazed by breathtaking effects such as meteorite impacts, cosmic radiation, and solar storms, all from a first-person perspective.
