The 32nd Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) will take place from June 17 to 21 at Phase I of the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Spanning 60,000 square meters, the fair will bring together over 1,700 exhibitors from 82 countries and regions, showcasing 220,000 premium Chinese and international titles.

The fair features a well‑organized layout with multiple functional zones. The Country of Honor, the United Arab Emirates, will present itself under the branding "UAE National Pavilion" and, for the first time, set up two booths, accompanied by a series of cultural exchange events, copyright discussions, and interactive cultural activities. The Online Publishing Pavilion, which has been held successfully for three consecutive years, will focus on web literature, online games, and IP‑based short dramas, with participation from leading internet publishing companies. A joint online publishing booth will debut, along with a dedicated stage where well‑known web literature authors will be invited to speak. This year's BIBF will also launch an IP Licensing Zone for the first time, gathering over 120 renowned domestic and international IPs spanning cartoons, film and television, intangible cultural heritage, and other areas. The zone will combine popular IPs with publishing culture through immersive exhibitions and interactive experiences. In addition, five special sections – the BIBF Picture Book Fair, BIBF Art Book Fair, BIBF Illustration Exhibition, Gourmet Book Fair, and Gifts From the World – will return as scheduled.

During the fair, nearly 1,000 publishing forums, copyright events, and cultural events will be held, including the Beijing International Publishing Forum, the 2026 BIBF World Children's Book Forum, the 2026 BIBF International Illustration Forum and Illustration Awards Ceremony, and the Sino-Foreign Copyright Matchmaking Event. The BIBF International Author Brand Event will continue to invite renowned Chinese and international authors for exchanges.

Admission is free to the Domestic Publishing Hall and Overseas Publishing Hall (Hall E, 1F), the Children's Book Hall (Hall C, 1F), the Gourmet Book Fair and Gifts From the World (Hall C, 3F), and the Online Publishing Pavilion (Hall C, P4). From June 17 to 19, access to the B1 Professional Publishing Exhibition Area requires a Professional Visitor Badge (60 yuan for a single day or 160 yuan for a full‑fair pass). The Picture Book Fair, Art Book Fair, and Illustration Exhibition require separate tickets, with varying policies on free admission for children across different zones.
