
On May 17, "Maize, Gold, Jaguars—A Grand Exhibition of Ancient Mayan and Andean Civilizations" opened at the Capital Museum. It is the largest special exhibition since the museum's founding, covering nearly 10,000 square meters and featuring around 800 precious cultural relics from Mexico and Peru, spanning 3,000 years of ancient civilizations in the Americas. During the exhibition period, the Capital Museum will also host a series of supporting events, including "Museum Night" events, an Americas-themed cultural and creative market, and interactive international cultural activities.
