On April 28, the "T-REX: A Special Exhibition for the King of Dinosaurs" opened at the Natural History Museum of China, which is scheduled to run until October 11. This marks the first time that T-Rex skeleton fossils have been exhibited in the Chinese mainland, featuring the most complete display of China's tyrannosaurid family.

Centered on T-Rex fossils, the exhibition systematically presents the full evolutionary history of these prehistoric predators through a combination of fossil specimens and scientific reconstructions. Of more than 100 precious exhibits, over 85 percent are fossils, including the skeleton of the juvenile T-Rex Rocky and that of the over 12-meter-long adult T-Rex Regina from the Dinosaur Museum Altmühltal, Germany.
The exhibition not only highlights the North American T-Rex but also showcases China's tyrannosaurid group, demonstrating their behavioral traits and evolutionary diversity across various regions. It is the first systematic and comprehensive display of China's tyrannosaurid family in the country.
A special section has also been set up to trace the century-long history of the research on the T-Rex since its discovery and its symbolic evolution in popular culture. Visitors can also see how strong their bite force is when compared with these dinosaurs and even listen to the simulated sound of this ancient giant.
The Dinosaur Museum Altmühltal in Germany is known as a leading paleontological research institution in Europe.
