From May 8 to 10, the 28th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo (CHITEC) will be held at the China National Convention Center.
Based on the theme of "Technology Drives Progress, Innovation Shapes the Future", this year's expo will focus on cutting-edge technologies, emerging industries, and future-oriented sectors. It aims to create an integrated exhibition platform combining exhibition displays, trade matchmaking, technology commercialization, and international exchanges.
Covering 50,000 square meters for the exhibitions, the event features six specialized exhibition zones, including Information Technology, Intelligent Manufacturing, Healthcare, Green and Low-Carbon Development, Digital Economy, and Regional Innovation. Over 800 companies and institutions from China and abroad will participate. During the event, more than 30 themed promotional and business negotiation activities will be held, expected to attract over 10,000 delegates.
Centered on a theme of "AI+", this year's CHITEC aims to create an immersive AI ecosystem experience space, showing innovative scenarios where AI technology is deeply integrated with industry and daily life. A "New Technology Consumer Product Launch Platform" will also be established within the exhibition area to display the latest smart devices, smart home products, and cutting-edge consumer electronics. Simultaneously, in collaboration with the Ya'ao business district, the event will launch a "trade-exhibition integration consumption season" (展贸融合消费季) to allow visitors to experience and spend. Leading e-commerce platforms such as Douyin (抖音) and Kuaishou (快手) have also been specifically invited to establish dedicated online live-streaming sales zones, enabling a seamless experience of offline exhibition browsing, online product promotion, and speedy consumption.
Registration for the expo is now open. Visitors can log in to the official website or the WeChat official account to register and reserve their visit.
Founded back in 1998, the Beijing International High-Tech Expo is China's first large-scale international exhibition dedicated to science and technology exchange and cooperation. It has now been held for 27 consecutive years. Over 1,000 overseas delegations from more than 100 countries and regions have participated, with over 40,000 domestic and international organizations and enterprises exhibiting. The event has welcomed a total of 6 million visitors in all, resulting in more than 5,700 achievements, contracts, and agreements totaling over 1 trillion yuan.
