The 2026 Beijing International Flower Show will run from April 28 to May 30 in the Lize Financial Business District of Fengtai District, showcasing over 1,000 varieties of flowers.

This year's event will include a 25,000-square-meter core exhibition area and a 100,000-square-meter outdoor exhibition space, featuring more than 60 themed gardens. The core exhibition area will present more than 1,000 varieties of mainstream and rare flowers of over 100 categories around the world, with international varieties accounting for 30 percent of all.

Four internationally renowned designers have been invited to grace the event, namely Li Xiong, Zhu Yufan, Mark Gregory (a gold medalist at the Chelsea Flower Show) and Judith van Der Poel (a Dutch landscape architect). Four display zones will be created on-site by these masters of gardening.

Notably, the iconic garden installations for the event will remain in public urban spaces, allowing the floral displays to continue being part of the local urban landscape.

Besides the core venue, the entire Lize will be transformed into a "grand garden" during the event. More than 20 "floral surprises" will be set up across office buildings, street corners, commercial areas, and green spaces, waiting to be discovered at different corners of the business district. In addition, the Beijing Garden City (an event) will be held concurrently, with citizen-designed gardens to be presented at Jin Zhongdu Ruins Park.
