
From May to October 2026, the Capital Museum in Beijing will host "A Grand Exhibition of Maya and Andean Civilizations", bringing together more than 800 exquisite artifacts.
Covering a total exhibition area of 10,000 square meters, the showcase will set new records for the museum in terms of the number of exhibits and the scale of international collaboration, making it the largest international exhibition in the museum's history.
Designed as an immersive spatial narrative on an unprecedented scale, the exhibition will trace the long and brilliant history of the Maya civilization, offering visitors a powerful and engaging experience. A number of the artifacts will be exhibited in China for the first time.
