Recently, the 2025 Beijing China Art International Fair officially commenced at the Rongbaozhai Building on Liulichang Street, Beijing. The event will run until December 21. Adopting a hybrid online and offline format, this year's Fair features a wide range of activities across three main themes: exhibitions, trading, and exchanges.
During the Fair, four dedicated exhibitions will highlight the artistic charm and profound heritage of Chinese culture: the Ancient Inkstone Exhibition, organized by Beijing Cultural Heritage Exchange Center, presents over 130 selected antique inkstones, narrating the historical stories behind these elegant study ware; the Chinese Lacquer Art Exhibition displays rare lacquerware treasures spanning millennia, arranged along a chronological timeline; the 5th Panjiayuan Folk Collection Art Exhibition gathers fine pieces from private collections; the online "Museums in Beijing" Hotlist offers over a hundred popular cultural and creative products from museums.
The trading segment encompasses four core activities: the Beijing Selected Museum Products Fair, the 2025 Golden Autumn Artwork Auction Season, the International Cultural Relics and Artworks Online Trading Fair, and a Public-Interest Artwork Auction.
The exchange segment includes citywide public-interest treasure appraisal services; industry seminars focusing on hot topics like tech-empowered artifact authentication and IP commercialization; the Beijing Museum Treasure Hunt, where participants can check in at locations on a map to win rewards; and the Archaeology on Fingertips interactive experience, allowing visitors to handle artifact specimens and appreciate their allure up close.
