From September 5 to November 16, the China International Candy Season (hereinafter referred to as the "Season") will be held at Shougang Park. The event will coincide with the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), the 2025 WTT China Smash, and the National Day holiday.

The main venue at Shougang Park will be linked with the parallel venue at the 798-751 Park (the 798 Art District and the 751D-Park). Several activities will also be rolled out in the Beijing Happy Valley area. Together, these locations will create a cross-district candy carnival combining sports, culture and tourism. The four characters of the "Dream Sweets" family (all being copyrighted characters of the Season), namely Mai Mai Mi, Bao Bao Zai, Bi Bi Nuo, and Bing Bing Ding, will also make their debut!

As the Season's main venue, the Big Air Shougang will be filled with different themed spaces. Visitors can stop by intangible cultural heritage workshops and brand-specific exhibition areas, participate in interactive, recreational activities, shop at a market highlighting creative cultural goods, and take breaks at a themed cafeteria—every corner offers something amazing.

Entertainment offerings have also been fully upgraded. The Disco spinner offers thrills, while VR adventures blur the line between virtuality and reality. Dozens of other activities also await, including sugar painting-making and face-painting.

With a check-in map in hand, every visitor can explore Shougang Park, the 798-751 Park, Shangri-La Shougang Park, Beijing, and the Happy Valley, where they can collect stamps, complete fun tasks, and receive exclusive mysterious gifts.

The Season also pioneers a ticketing model applicable to the holders of tickets to designated events. During this year's CIFTIS (September 10–14), CIFTIS ticket holders can each enjoy 20-percent discounts on the tickets to the Candy Carnival. During the WTT China Smash (September 28–October 5), holders of the tickets to the matches or the Smash Park will be granted direct entry to the Season's venues. This model will offer more convenience for the public.
