From December 14 to 15, the finals of some sub-events of the 6th Beijing Vocational Skills Competition (the "Competition" for short) will be held at the China National Convention Center. Spectators can make reservations for free visits.

The Competition is the largest, most professional and most influential one of its kind in Beijing. This year's session will adopt for the first time a mode integrating skills matches, exhibitions, performances of amazing skills, and meetings and negotiations, aiming to make itself a comprehensive event.

This year's session will encompass vocational skills competition programs at the international, national, and industrial levels. There will be participants from the advanced manufacturing sectors such as new-energy vehicles, the services sectors such as couture techniques, as well as new vocational sectors such as AI training techniques. From December 14 to 15, the finals of six visually attractive and highly interactive programs including coffee-making and IoT techniques, will be held, allowing the audience to feast on exhilarating matches of vocational skills.

An exhibition area for vocational skills will be set up this year. Focusing on four major topics ("Delicacies in Beijing", "Beauty of Life", "Pillars of a Great Power", and "Digital Technologies"), this area will showcase over 230 skill achievements through physical exhibits, graphic and textual content, interactive experiences, etc.

Notably, dozens of technique masters, intangible cultural heritage inheritors, and first-line industrial workers will be invited to the venue to demonstrate over 50 skills, such as the making of snuff bottles, traditional processing techniques of traditional Chinese medicine, instrument playing, and drone flight simulation.
