"The Temple of Earth and Me" Beijing Book Fair will be held at Ditan (Temple of Earth) Park from September 13 to 23 as part of the 2024 Beijing Culture Forum. Over 100 cultural activities will be rolled out, including lectures on the cultural facts of the Temple of Earth, and the Mid-Autumn Night of Books (书香中秋之夜).

This year's book fair covers a total area of approximately 18,000 square meters. It will feature ten exhibition areas, three activity zones, and three service points, bringing together over 330 publishing institutions, physical bookstores, and special exhibitors from across China, with a total of 400,000 titles to be on display and sale. The exhibition areas include the Special Exhibition Area for Themed Publications, the "Old Books and New Knowledge" Exhibition Area, the Physical Bookstore Block, the Exhibition and Sales Area of Selected Titles of Renowned Publishing Institutions, the Public Reading Promotion Area, the Thematic Book Block, the Parent-Child Reading Area for Children's Books, the Foreign Book Area, the Discounted Book Exhibition and Sales Area, and the Creative Cultural Product Area. This year's book fair reaches a new height in scale.
This year's book fair will highlight the launch of books centered on Beijing's Central Axis. The goal is to provide readers with a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the Central Axis's origin, evolution, architectural features, and cultural significance.
