On August 2, 2024, the 11th "Animation Beijing" kicked off at the Beiren Etrong International Exhibition & Convention Center. The major event ended on August 4, with other activities continuing until November.

This "Animation Beijing" is dedicated to establishing a new system integrating "Animation +" entertainment and tourism, and leveraging cultural tourism resources with Beijing characteristics. It will create a comprehensive platform for industrial communication through events like animation and game lectures on campus, an Animation Theater Season, and a Chinese Comic & Animation Exhibition Season, etc.

The Animation and Game Carnival is a gathering for comic fans. This year, key animation and game enterprises at home and abroad showcased nearly 100 latest products and technologies, and debuted several famous IPs.

It is reported that the subsequent activities will include "Animation + Village Tourism", bringing classic animation IPs into Beijing's rural homestays, along with wonderful cross-border activities in theaters.
