The 8th "Fantasy Cloisonné" Nighttime Cultural Experience Season has officially opened under the theme "Golden Threads, Brilliant Enamel, Vibrant Dongcheng" (金丝釉彩夜·匠艺润东城).

The expanded and upgraded Beijing Cloisonné Night Market (京珐夜巷烟火市集) is one of the highlights of this year's event. Over a dozen booths featuring intangible cultural heritage crafts and time-honored brands line the market. Beyond cloisonné works, there are also exquisitely crafted jade carvings, delicate inside-painting (the art of hand-painting on the interior surface of a narrow-necked transparent or semi-transparent vessel) artworks, nature-inspired stone paintings, as well as silk figurines, Peking Opera masks, silverware, and carved lacquerware — each with its own distinctive character. Time-honored brands such as Zhengxingde Tea House and Shanxi Aged Vinegar also bring their authentic signature products, while the sugar-figure stall adds a touch of sweetness to the market experience.

Beyond the market, the immersive craft experience is equally popular. In the brightly lit production workshops, visitors follow the actual production process while guides introduce the six core processes: base-hammering, filigree soldering, enamel filling, enamel firing, polishing, and gilding. The Cloisonné Art Museum and Treasure Gallery are also open in the evening, where treasured exhibits appear even more elegant and refined under warm lighting. Through detailed guided tours, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the historical context and craftsmanship behind each piece.

The 8th "Fantasy Cloisonné" Nighttime Cultural Experience Season runs until September 5 and takes place every Saturday from 17:30 to 21:30 at the Beijing Enamel Factory. Free parking is available on site, offering convenience for visitors.
