The annual Zhongguancun International Food Festival has returned on June 26 and will run for three days! Now, without further ado, prepare yourself for the nonstop summer fun at MixC Qinghe. The event is underway at the outdoor block at the north gate of the complex's east zone.

Through a full upgrade, this year's event returns bigger and better as an AI-powered food carnival, integrating street food, smart catering and all-day stage performances in one place.

The standout feature of this food festival is the Smart Catering Technology Experience Zone. A dedicated 4 x 12-meter robotic food bar handles the entire food preparation process, from start to finish, fully automated. 

Visitors may place orders by scanning QR codes. Intelligent machines can automatically produce pancakes, coffee, ice cream, cotton candy and popcorn. Ordering and delivery robots complete the whole serving process with limited human intervention. It also provides fantastic photo-taking opportunities for visitors to experience the stunning integration of technologies and meals.

A total of 20 standard food stalls are arranged in the market, featuring restaurant brands inside MixC Qinghe and other brands selected by industry associations. Visitors can taste a plethora of delicacies without traveling across the city.

The main stage for the opening ceremony will stay open throughout the event, with varied programs arranged at different slots over the three days.

From 10:00 to 11:00 and from 16:00 to 17:00, art troupes from Qinghe Community put on performances including dances, waist drum shows, diabolo shows, instrumental ensembles and Yang-style Tai Chi Broadsword performances—all delivered by skilled local performers.

During prime match-watching hours for this year's FIFA World Cup from 19:00 to 21:00, the large LED screen broadcast highlights and replays of the matches. In the cool of the evening, visitors can savor delicacies while watching sports games and enjoying fabulous hours.

Special themed performances and brand-based interactive activities will be held from 12:00 to 13:00 and from 18:00 to 19:00, as part of the collaboration between the food festival and the anniversary celebration of MixC Qinghe. This collaboration is expected to boost passenger flow for both the festival and the mall, enabling visitors to enjoy both shopping and feasting.
