The commemorative events for the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War will be launched on September 3 this year. To ensure aviation safety for the events, nine districts in Beijing, namely Dongcheng, Xicheng, Chaoyang, Haidian, Fengtai, Shijingshan, Tongzhou, Changping, and Mentougou, have been designated as restricted areas for flights on July 16. The new rule will remain effective until September 3. Except for the aviation activities planned for commemoration, and the releases of peace doves, balloons, and other activities for the events, the release of any other object that may compromise aviation safety is prohibited. The release of birds is also subject to phased restrictions.

According to the requirement, releasing drones (including FPV drones), kites, balloons, sky lanterns, and other objects that may affect aviation safety will be prohibited within the restricted areas.
