Recently, the Beijing Chaoyang Railway Station and the Beijing Fengtai Railway Station took a series of new measures to make cultural and tourism products more accessible for passengers.

The "Ticket Stub Perks" (凭票根享优惠) campaign has been launched on a trial basis around the Fengtai Station. Xinfengxiang (新丰巷) Specialty Commercial Street, adjacent to the southern hub exit of the Fengtai Station, stretches 530 meters and houses nearly 300 merchants. Until October 7, passengers who present proof of train tickets purchased within the previous three days can enjoy special offers, such as spend-and-save deals and discounts at more than 20 participating businesses along the street. The street is also equipped with signage and consumer guide materials, allowing passengers to check offers by scanning a QR code.

The "Reading Beijing - Shared Reading Corner in the Station Area" (阅读北京・书香站区共读角) at the Chaoyang Station has been comprehensively upgraded, featuring a curated selection of reading materials across 73 categories, including Beijing's culture, city guides, history and geography, and children's picture books, catering to readers of all ages. This section also offers connections to the "Capital Library Lifelong Reading" (首都图书馆终身阅读) platform, where passengers can read e-books for free and listen to audiobooks by scanning QR codes. Online shared reading activities will also be launched later, with participants who share book excerpts and reading reflections having the chance to win creative cultural gift packages and reading benefit cards.

This summer, a tourist information station in the transfer hall of the Chaoyang Station transportation hub was also put into operation. The service station, operating daily from 7:00 to 23:00, provides handbooks on cultural and tourism destinations and other related information in Beijing, city maps, and other materials, while offering regular services including mobile phone charging, basic first aid, and multilingual emergency translation. Smart electronic information kiosks will be introduced later.
