Lingyun Observation Deck (凌云观景台) is the best spot to view the sea of clouds, stunning sunsets, and a panorama of the Miyun Reservoir.

Ascending the mountain, you will find awe-inspiring views of rolling hills and distant cityscape of Beijing. Between mid-May and mid-June, the park transforms into a fragrant wonderland as hundreds of hectares of roses bloom in the Rose Valley (玫瑰谷) . At that time, you can enjoy a breathtaking spectacle where floral beauty meets floating clouds.

Juling Gorge (Lingshan Ancient Road) Scenic Area

This scenic area houses the 8-kilometer Lingshan Ancient Road (灵山古道), which leads to Donglingshan's main peak at an altitude of 2,303 meters. At the top lies the largest alpine meadow in northern China — lush, breezy, and incredibly photogenic. Every snapshot here feels like a nature-inspired masterpiece.

A majestic dam stretches between two hills, encapsulating the crystal-clear water within. When the breeze stirs, ripples dance across the water, reflecting the awakening green hills along its shores. The scenic area is therefore known as the "Small Three Gorges of Northern China".
