From May 1 to August 30, 2026, a special exhibition titled "Meet Angkor Wat: Treasures of the Angkor Civilization from the National Museum of Cambodia" will run at the Meet You Museum in the 798 Art Zone.
Presented jointly by the Meet You Museum and the National Museum of Cambodia, this exhibition brings together 122 precious pieces (sets) of Cambodian national-level cultural relics.
The highlights of them include:
The stone-made architectural components of Garuda and Nagas that depict epic tales of fire and water;
A standing stone statue of Ardhanarishvara that embodies Hindu philosophy;
A stone statue combining the seated Buddha backed by Mucalinda (the Naga king protecting the Buddha), symbolizing the evolution of spiritual beliefs during the Angkorian period;
A stone lintel depicting a mythical, epic battle scene;
A stone statue of the demon Asura, identical to those found on the bridges spanning the moat of Angkor Thom.
