35th Beijing International Yanjing Beer Culture Festival

The 35th Beijing International Yanjing Beer Culture Festival will be held at the Capital International Exhibition and Convention Center from August 14 to 23. Beyond craft beer and live music, the venue features a market with fancy goods, free public film screenings, and evening performances of rural flair, allowing everyone to enjoy a wonderful summer night in one go.

You can search for "35th Beijing International Yanjing Beer Culture Festival" (第35届北京国际燕京啤酒文化节) on Maoyan (app or mini-program) to purchase tickets. With physical or electronic ticket stubs, visitors can enjoy exclusive offers at over 200 businesses across Shunyi District.

A Starry Qixi Date Along Jianhe River: Qixi-Themed Park Tour

The event will take place at Jianhe Park from 17:00 to 20:20 on August 15. Ancient-style lanterns and strings of starry lights will create a dreamy walkway, while Kunqu Opera and traditional Chinese folk music will echo across waterside pavilions. Visitors can also explore a traditional Chinese-style market and use AI-powered photo booths to enjoy themselves through the combination of classic Qixi customs and modern leisure activities.

Masterpieces of Puppetry and Shadow Puppetry at Shunyi Grand Theater

From July to August, a dazzling array of puppetry and shadow puppetry shows have been scheduled at the Shunyi Grand Theater, with five renowned regional troupes of China presenting their outstanding works: the large-size puppet shows from northern Sichuan, the rod puppet shows from Yangzhou, the string puppet shows from Quanzhou, the multimedia shadow puppetry shows from Huazhou, and the medium-size rod puppet shows from Zizhong.

Immersive AI Art Exhibition at Bonded Art Zone

This summer, the "Future Realm—Immersive AI Art Exhibition" (未来之境——AI 艺术沉浸大展) was launched at the National Base for International Cultural Trade (Beijing). Visitors can experience AI emotional sensing and XR virtual filming, appreciate digital light installations inspired by "Impression, Sunrise" and "Water Lilies" of Claude Monet, and create personalized AI-powered creative souvenirs here. Concurrent events include the "2026 International Biennale of Watercolor Art" (2026国际水彩艺术双年展) and "Splendid China: 2026 Themed Exhibition on New Scenarios and New Spaces for Intangible Cultural Heritage" (锦绣中华·2026非遗新场景新空间主题展).

Shunxin Langyuan Greens

From July to August, the park plans to roll out a full lineup of leisure-themed activities and facilities: a pet-friendly swimming pool for visitors and their pets, an outdoor Chinese-style beverage lounge for tipsy drinks, black vinyl jazz parties, and curator co-creation programs, offering round-the-clock leisure spots.
