Beijing's Exhibitions in February

Museums in Beijing have recently launched new exhibitions attracting visitors and families throughout the city

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Culture Exhibition: a number of digital images and interaction projects showcase the systematic TCM culture with its long history and unique concepts, specifically introducing the formation, evolution and outstanding contribution of the TCM independent knowledge system.

Venue: North No. 3 and North No. 4 Exhibition Halls of the National Museum of China 

Beauty in Greatness Through Details (National Exhibition of Small Artworks): Nearly 600 collected works are exhibited along with 400 works collected or invited by the National Art Museum of China, including Chinese paintings, oil paintings and sculptures. The exhibition has the largest number of works on display among the exhibitions at the National Art Museum of China in recent years, running until March 26.

Venue: Treasure Pavilion and Exhibition Halls No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21, National Art Museum of China

 

"The World of Coral Reefs" Special Exhibition: This exhibition introduces biological information on coral and interprets its environmental, social, economic and cultural value. It also reveals the threats faced by coral reef ecosystems and China's efforts to protect them. The exhibition will run until March 31.

Venue: Exhibition Hall on the fourth floor of the Geological Museum of China
